Highly recommend these. I was on the edge for a bit because of the price but then I decided to treat myself and boy was it a good decision. I would wear these every day. They are more on the high waisted side if you like that. I like my shorts tighter so I got a small, but that didn't restrict movement at all. Will be getting more pairs in the future
Don't be fooled too much by another "eco-minded" clothing start-up. There are other equally sustainable clothing brands with equal or superior products and a better return policy. I've worn the women's version hiking for about a month and they are already showing signs of wearing down with average comfort. The pockets on the back don't flatter a petite, slim athletic woman. I bought the shorts at the same time for my husband, and he thought they were too short (he's 6'1, 165 lbs). When I returned them I was charged the return shipping fee, which was unfortunate.
I’m rating these shorts 4 stars mostly due to the sustainability. I thought a size L would fit me but they are a little tight around the waist and ride up my thighs. I’ve never been an XL in my life. These were definitely designed for thin white people, not thick girls with curves. The shorts appear more “flowy” and “roomy“ on models, but on me, it’s a pretty tight fit.
These are my favorite shorts. The material is fantastic, great for being outside. It's not restrictive or heavy. First pair of shorts with pockets big enough for my phone! I highly recommend these shorts to anyone!
I honestly want a second pair so I can wear them all of the time—really comfy, practical, they don’t ride up when walking (soooo nice) . Easy to wash off (I.e. I spilt pancake batter on them on a breakfast trip out in the woods, it washed off easy with some water and dried fairly quickly too.
From what I’ve experienced, water or rain doesn’t bead up and run off, (even not having washed them yet) but they do dry pretty quickly and look great!
